Gerard Johansen is a cybersecurity professional with over a two decades of experience in digital forensics, incident response, and threat intelligence. He has held positions as an enterprise security analyst, security operations manager, and and a consultant focusing on detection and response.
Currently, he is an independent consultant focused on developing bespoke incident readiness and response solutions for a variety of organizations. Gerard Johansen has had the opportunity to speak at industry conferences and contribute to community projects, most notably the Red Canary Incident Response and Readiness guide.
Additionally, he has authored three editions of the book “Digital Forensics and Incident Response” through Packt Publishing. Gerard Johansen graduated from Norwich University and holds several industry certifications including the CISSP, GCFA, and GNFA.
