About Daniel Sauder

Daniel Sauder is Head of Offensive Security & Security Enablement at thyssenkrupp, where he leads two international teams responsible for red teaming, penetration testing, vulnerability management, and security enablement. His teams protect more than 100,000 endpoints, support NIS2 and TISAX compliance, and shape resilience and cultural change across global security operations.

With more than 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, Daniel has worked in penetration testing, red teaming, but also digital forensics, and incident response before moving into leadership roles. He has presented research tools at Black Hat Arsenal and spoken at industry events and seminars on industrial cybersecurity. Daniel is CISSP-certified and holds the GIAC Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership (GSTRT) certificate, among others. He is passionate about how in-house offensive security capabilities strengthen strategic security programs, helping organizations think like attackers and prepare for the evolving threats of 2030.
