About Christopher Robinson

Christopher (Chris) Robinson is a practitioner-turned-instructor whose career has been built at the intersection of ICS cybersecurity and applied offensive research. A SANS Instructor, Chris has taught SANS LDR414: SANS Training Program for CISSP Certification and SANS ICS410: ICS/SCADA Security Essentials, and is one of the co-authors of SANS ICS612: ICS Cybersecurity In-Depth. Based in London, he works as a Senior Principal Consultant at DNV Cyber, focusing on a variety of ICS cybersecurity projects, including greenfield projects, penetration testing, network architecture reviews, and firewall assessments.

His work keeps his skills current, and shapes how he teaches, helping students understand how to attack and defend ICS environments. His co-authorship of ICS612 reflects both his technical depth and his commitment to operationally grounded ICS training.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science. His certifications include the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN), Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), GIAC Information Security Professional (GISP), GIAC Information Security Fundamentals (GISF), and GIAC Cloud Security Essentials (GCLD).
