Christopher Cotter

Christopher Cotter is currently the Director of OT Cybersecurity at Avangrid with more than 13 years of experience in the utilities industry, including over three years in OT security leadership roles protecting critical infrastructure.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business and spent four years working in Madrid, Spain, gaining an international perspective on operational risk and cross-cultural collaboration. Christopher is currently in his final year of a master’s program in Information Security Engineering at the SANS Technology Institute. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys traveling and martial arts training; he is a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and an instructor in military combatives.
