Chris Schwind is a seasoned cybersecurity expert and trusted advisor in World Wide Technology’s Field CISO team, bringing nearly three decades of hands-on experience to global IT and security leaders. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Chris specializes in Security Strategy, Endpoint Security, Tools Rationalization, and Risk Management and Compliance. Chris has deep expertise in endpoint security platforms—particularly Tanium—and has helped organizations streamline operations, reduce risk, and maximize technology investments. His approach is rooted in solving real-world challenges: rising threats, limited visibility, too many tools, limited integration, resource constraints, and the growing complexity of hybrid environments.
Chris’s career spans 29 years across financial services, utilities, and consulting verticals, where he held both technical and managerial roles at firms including Accenture, First Data, Fiserv, CheckFree, SunTrust Bank, and others. He has led global initiatives across IT and Cybersecurity to reduce risk, increase security maturity, and build cybersecurity programs.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and maintains multiple industry certifications, including CISSP.
