Cheri Carr

Cheri Carr has long been a trusted partner in digital forensics and incident response investigations. A pioneer in the field, she developed many of the processes and procedures still in use today. Ms. Carr was a founding member of the Air Force and DoD Computer Forensics Laboratories, the first of their kind. Her early years in federal law enforcement at Air Force OSI and NASA OIG instilled in her the importance of careful evidence handling and bulletproof chain of custody. Throughout her career, Ms. Carr has testified as an expert witness dozens of times in federal and state courts in various types of matters and prides herself in both the quality of her work and her ability to communicate results to both technical and non-technical audiences alike. Ms. Carr is a licensed Private Investigator in the state of Texas (#09640601) and has earned many certifications over the course of her career, including Seized Computer Evidence Recovery Specialist from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.
