Charles Everette

Charles “Chuck” Everette is the CISO for the City of Fort Lauderdale and Field Chief Information Security Officer for ESET’s Corporate Solutions business in North America. He brings more than two decades of frontline cybersecurity leadership across financial services, government, critical infrastructure, and large enterprise environments.

Throughout his career, Chuck has been responsible for protecting high-value targets at scale, including global payment platforms processing the majority of U.S. financial transactions and complex hybrid environments that blend legacy systems with modern cloud and OT/ICS. He has led large security operations teams, guided organizations through major incidents, and translated threat intelligence into concrete changes in how networks, identities, and applications are defended.
