Caleb Evans is a software engineer on the Agents team at Airbyte, where he builds semantic search, retrieval, and agentic capabilities for Airbyte's AI data platform.
Before Airbyte he spent several years at Red Hat, most recently as a senior software engineer building a deep research agent for company executives and leadership. He also worked on a distributed test-results platform and designed its AI failure analysis feature, with prior experience in build automation and systems administration. Caleb won first place in the SANS Institute Find Evil hackathon with Mulder, an autonomous digital forensics investigation tool that turns raw evidence into structured incident reports while keeping every finding tied to an auditable source.
