Ben Scott is the National Director, OT & Critical Infrastructure Programs at Fortinet, where he leads strategy and advisory initiatives across the US Public Sector, focused on safeguarding the nation’s most vital systems, including water, power, transportation, public safety, and airports. With over a decade of experience in network security and OT cybersecurity, he also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Columbus State Community College and leads the Water Assist Mission for the Ohio Cyber Reserve. Ben holds an M.S. in Cybersecurity from Western Governors University and has been recognized by WGU, The Advocate, and the Ohio Senate for his leadership and impact.
Ben’s mission is to strengthen the resilience of America’s critical infrastructure, advocate for cybersecurity education, and build a secure future through leadership, innovation, and collaboration. His speaker topics span critical infrastructure cybersecurity, OT and IT convergence, and public sector modernization. He brings deep expertise in areas including ICS/OT security architecture, Zero Trust implementation, cyber resilience planning, and whole-of-state SOC and fusion center development.
