Anastasiia M. is an OSINT Consultant at the International Development Law Organization (IDLO) in Ukraine, where she focuses on AI-driven workflow automation for open-source investigations and mentors practitioners on OSINT techniques and data management in the context of international crimes accountability. Previously, she led the Data & Research Team at Frontstory.pl and VSquare.org in Warsaw, where she built and managed a team of researchers and introduced data journalism workflows to the newsroom. She has contributed to the Wall Street Journal's coverage of the war in Ukraine and worked as a multimedia journalist at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. She completed the Lede Program at Columbia Journalism School and later returned as a Teaching Assistant, and holds a Research & Data Fellowship from OCCRP. Her investigative work has received the Press Club Polska Award for Investigative Reporting, the Grand Press Digital Award for innovative storytelling, and has been shortlisted for the IJ4EU Impact Award and the Daphne Caruana Galizia Prize. She has spoken at Data Harvest, DataFest Tbilisi, and Prague Media Point.
