Anand Singh, PhD, is Head of Security and Strategy - Data + AI at Zscaler. A Global Chief Information Security Officer with 25+ years of experience, he has owned enterprise cyber risk for public and private companies operating at global scale and has led security, cloud, identity, and risk programs across global organizations.

He has built cybersecurity programs designed to stand up to boards, regulators, investors, and real-world attackers. In 2024, he was named a Top 50 Global CISO for exceptional leadership in cybersecurity.

His experience includes leading IPO readiness and public company compliance for Alkami Technology's 2021 IPO, scaling teams from startup to 600+, managing nine-figure budgets, and securing platforms serving 25M+ users with zero material security incidents.

He has directed multi-region security, cloud, identity, and risk programs, securing large-scale SaaS and cloud platforms in regulated environments. He has also enabled growth through pragmatic security, governed AI and emerging technologies, and helped position security as a board-level business enabler.

In AI security and governance, he has owned enterprise AI risk and governance, enabling AI adoption at scale while preventing sensitive data exposure across 10M+ users, multiple business units, and regulated environments.

His focus is on enabling growth, securing on-prem, cloud, and SaaS platforms, and governing emerging technologies, including AI, while making security a board-level business enabler.
