Alain Sanchez has 20+ years of executive engagement experience in the Network and Telecommunications domain. Alain joined Fortinet CISO office after having held senior executive positions in Accenture ,Huawei, Alcatel-Lucent , BT-Global Services and Nortel, advising the board of Companies like Virgin Media, Telcel, INWI, Vodafone UK, China Mobile as well as Fortune 500 enterprises embarked in transformational digital journeys.

As EMEA CISO for Fortinet, Alain’s role is also to permanently exchange with Cyber Security Officers around the Europe, Middle-East and Africa Theater, gathering and sharing best practices, methodologies and innovative approaches to make our connected world a safer place.

Alain Sanchez graduated from the University of Technology of Compiegne with a degree in Engineering complemented by a Master degree in industrial processes.
