This talk will discuss how to conduct video-forward OSINT investigations from start to finish. Covering all aspects of the video investigation lifecycle, from content acquisition and preservation, to video analysis and presenting the findings. Forensic analysis of videos is an often overlooked area ripe for OSINT investigation—videos may frequently contain breadcrumbs that lead investigators to discoveries that may otherwise be overlooked, and yet are often side-lined in favor of more conventional OSINT analyses such as database lookups and social media scans.
