Contact UsOpen Source Intelligence (OSINT) is often viewed as a checklist of tools, platforms, and steps—but true methodology is far more deliberate. This presentation redefines OSINT methodology through the targeting cycle, showing how clear objectives and structured analysis lead to real-world impact. Using a live case study that resulted in the identification and recovery of a trafficking victim and the arrest of her trafficker, the speakers will demonstrate how intentional intelligence drives successful outcomes. Attendees will learn to define their targets with purpose before beginning an investigation, to critically evaluate their own internalized methods throughout the process, and to remain dispassionate when assessing their work. The session will highlight how balancing critical and creative thinking improves accuracy and efficiency, and how disciplined self-assessment strengthens future operations. Participants will leave with a practical, repeatable framework for applying OSINT with clarity, purpose, and measurable results.
