Contact UsThis talk will focus on introducing a novel idea on Consequence-driven Cyber-informed Engineering championed by Idaho National Labs in USA. This presentation will focus on how High Consequence Events (HCEs) from an engineering mindset which can impact Critical Infrastructure of a Nation and how different threat vectors can play an important role to sabotage critical functions of a Critical Infrastructure Provider. The core idea stems from the way how Cyber Risk is viewed from a high consequence point of view from an engineering perspective and then drilling back into what Cyber events can lead to those High Consequence Events. The talk is intended to motivate audience to review Cyber Risk in Critical Infrastructure Organizations from a new perspective. Learning Outcomes 1. Learn the unique way of looking at cyber risks in Critical Infrastructure based on CCE 2. Learn the foundational methodology of CCE 3. Identify what is critical infrastructure (CI) and how the cyber impact on CI can have detrimental impact on National Security, Economic Security and Societal impact.
