Contact UsAs OSINT practitioners, we often find ourselves on the hunt for that key piece of information critical to our intelligence requirements. Looking for that proverbial needle in the massive haystack that is the internet. Specialized search engine queries using Boolean logic or sifting through a collection of reliable sources can be used to accomplish this, but what if there was another way? Instead of painstakingly sifting through unfiltered data to find an exact piece of information, this presentation argues that a more efficient way is to build your own search engine to scrape specifically curated subsections of the internet. Making curated queries go farther and finding high-fidelity information faster than ever. In this presentation, attendees will learn how to create, use and maintain their own search engines for free with no paid tools as well as some lessons learned along the way.
