The advisory board are volunteers from the security awareness community who provide input on topics, review and help select CFP submissions, plan special events and networking activities, and provide assistance and help to attendees at the event. Lillian Warner

Lillian Warner

Lillian Warner is an Active Duty Air Force Officer currently serving as the technical lead of Kessel Run’s Red Team in Boston, MA, where she tests software applications and Kessel Run’s networks in order to keep Airmen secure as they win wars. She also launched Kessel Run’s incident response program.

Previously, in San Antonio, Texas, she planned and operated Cyber Protection missions, crafted incident response plans for Air Force teams and led a team of cyber intelligence analysts.

She is a student at Harvard Extension School and proudly holds certifications in Exploit Research and Advanced Penetration Testing (GXPN) and Global Information Assurance Certification Forensic Analyst (GCFA).


Gert-Jan Bruggink

Gert-Jan Bruggink is a cyber threat intelligence leader specialized in understanding adversary tradecraft and thereby helping leaders make more informed decisions. GJ has extensive experience at the crossing of offense, defense & strategic risk management and spend the last 10+ years specializing on providing leaders actionable threat intelligence products and building secure organizations. GJ is co-founder, cyber threat intelligence analyst and defensive specialist at FalconForce Netherlands and previously led the Dutch cyber threat intelligence team at a Big Four accounting firm.

Huáscar Tejeda is the Co-Founder & CEO of F2TC Cyber Security. He is a seasoned cybersecurity professional, thoroughly experienced with more than 20 years with notable achievements in IT and Telecommunications, developing carrier grade security solutions and business critical components for multiple broadband providers. Highly skilled in Security Research, Penetration Testing, Linux Kernel Hacking, Software Development and Embedded Hardware Design. Huascar is also a member of the SANS Summit Steering Committee and contributing author of the SANS Institute's most advanced course, SEC760: Advanced Exploit Development for Penetration Testers.

With over 17 years of IT and cybersecurity experience, focused primarily on Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI), V. Susan Peediyakkal draws on her significant knowledge from working with various intelligence operations in the federal government and international commercial domains. Susan's career began in the US Air Force where she has served 20 years, both active and reserve. She is currently the Infosec Operations Manager at NASA Ames Research Center. Susan is the Founder and Executive Director of BSides Sacramento, serves on the board for Mental Health Hackers as the Chief Wellness Officer, an ambassador for the Women's Society of Cyberjutsu, and sits on the advisory board for CSU Chico's Executive Program. In 2020, she completed her CISO certification at Carnegie Mellon University and was named a 2020 technologist fellow for the National Security Institute (NSI) at George Mason University.

Xena Olsen

Xena Olsen has 15 years of consulting experience guiding clients through challenging topics related to marketing campaign strategy, electronic medical record (EMR) implementation, startup development and launch, Agile project management for software development, international business partnerships, multimillion-dollar real estate deals, and real estate lifecycle management. She is a graduate of the SANS 2017 Women’s Academy, a Senior Lead at DEF CON’s Blue Team Village, holds an MBA in IT Management, and is currently studying for a D.Sc. Cybersecurity at Marymount University. She has proven competency across eight functional areas of information security, as demonstrated through the following GIAC certifications: GSEC, GCIH, GCFE, GMON, GDAT, GPEN, GCTI, and GXPN.

Xena is a recognized leader and known public speaker with expertise in cyber threat intelligence, purple teaming, and business strategy. She has spoken at BlackHat Asia, Department of Defense, United Nations World Food Programme, ShmooCon, Derbycon, RSA Conference, SANS Summits, Ekoparty, and Confidence Conference. She is actively involved in the community by serving on CFP Advisory Boards for various conferences, such as the SANS CTI Summit, SANS Purple Team Summit, SCYTHE’s Purple Team Summit, DEF CON Blue Team Village, CactusCon, and CircleCityCon. As the founder of the Women in Information Security Study Group and the Chicago Chapter President of Women in Security and Technology, Xena empowers others to succeed by forming strategic partnerships and arranging curated content for underrepresented minorities in the information security industry. She is also a member of the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC), Infragard Chicago, Yara Exchange, FuzzySnugglyDuck, and other vetted Cyber Threat Intel Sharing Groups.
