SEC595: Applied Data Science and AI/Machine Learning for Cybersecurity Professionals

There are two types of cyberattacks: opportunistic and targeted ones. In the first case, victims usually don’t pay attention to who’s beyond the attack. However in the second case, it could be interesting to find data to identify the threat actor and put some context around the attack.
Penetration testing tradecraft is evolving, and this talk explores how methodology and continuity are reshaping the way penetration tests are conducted. Agile principles and techniques, which have been widely adopted in development and IT operations, are now being applied to penetration testing efforts. and penetration testing will never be the same again.
