NetWars Academy Cup

Our NetWars Academy Cup welcomes service men and women from the four U.S. military academies.

Department of Defense

The SANS Academy Cup Tournament will run on consecutive evenings, 1-2 April 2026, from 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM Eastern at SANS 2026. This event will be In-Person only.

An Academy Cup Welcome Reception for all participants and observers will be In-Person before the tournament begins on Wednesday, 1 April 2026, at 5:00 PM Eastern. The reception will feature a special speaker and will serve as an orientation and kick-off to begin the tournament.

An Academy Cup Awards Reception for all participants and observers will follow the conclusion of the tournament on Thursday, 2 April 2026, around 9:30 PM Eastern. The reception will feature a special speaker and we will announce the winning academy.

2026 SANS NetWars Academy Cup Tournament Schedule:

Wednesday, April 1

  • Welcome Reception and Event Kickoff – 5:00 - 6:00 PM EDT
  • Tournament – 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM EDT

Thursday, April 2

  • Tournament – 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM EDT
  • Awards Ceremony & Closing Remarks – approximately 9:30 PM - 9:50 PM EDT

A representative from SANS will reach out to team leaders with more information.

We thank the academy administration for allowing the students to participate, and look forward to recognizing our dedicated academy students!

The winners of this tournament will have their names and team name engraved on the NetWars Academy Cup traveling trophy. The engraved trophy will be shipped to the location of the winning team's college for display.

USAF Wins 2026 SANS Academy Cup in Orlando, FL

Congratulations to the US Air Force Academy for winning the 8th Annual SANS Academy Cup competition in Orlando, FL, on April 2, 2026! Each Academy Team consisted of 5 students, all competing for the coveted traveling SANS Academy Cup Trophy.
