Debra Hurst

Deb is a expert in Client Relations with over 35 years of experience in the field. Before joining SANS, she worked in various industries, advising, supporting, and onboarding clients across multiple IT platforms. Her hands-on experience in managing clients within technical and governmental organizations has provided her with the knowledge and expertise to advise and guide many of SSA's clients on constructing robust security awareness training programs. Along with eight years of experience as an instructional content designer, Deb holds a GISF certificate, highlighting her proficiency in information security. In her free time, Deb loves adventure and is proud to have climbed to the top of Half Dome, although she had to belly-crawl to peek over the edge.
