Chris Fox

Chris is an experienced cybersecurity leader, with a real passion for CNI (Critical National Infrastructure) and has enjoyed over 15 years across 2 of the major CNI sectors (Defence and Energy). Chris has held previous roles in the MOD CERT (Ministry of Defence Computer Emergency Response Team) and more recently led the National Grid CSIRT (Cyber Security Incident Response Team) for 4 years prior to moving internally into a Director/Senior Manager role within Network Security at National Grid.

Chris has worked in cybersecurity across both Enterprise and OT/ICS/CNI settings. His experience spans from leading complex incident response engagements to implementing and maturing strategic security capabilities both within the Enterprise and the OT/ICS/CNI space.

Chris founded the E3CC (Energy Emergency Executive Committee - Cyber Security Task Group) Security Operations sub group and is an active member of the ESIE (Energy Sector Information Exchange) group. Chris is huge believer in continual personal development, he currently actively holds the recognised certifications – LPM, POPM, CCSP, CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, GCFA, GSTRT, GDAT, GRID and ITIL.
