Cecelia is currently Manager of Systemwide Cybersecurity Risk Awareness and Strategy for the University of California. In her current role, she works with partners across the University’s 11 campuses and 5 health systems to develop and implement innovative awareness strategies and programs to reduce human risk. Cecelia also created a very successful security awareness program at UCLA that was used as a model for other campus locations within the system. Prior to her work at the University of CA, Cecelia developed and implemented the data security governance program for the Motion Picture Association, and prior to that spent several years in internal controls at Verizon conducting SOX risk assessments. Cecelia was part of the UC Women’s Initiative and recently completed the Yale Women’s Leadership Program. She is very interested in the intersection of AI with cybersecurity behavior and culture and its impact on Human Risk.
