Arthur Deane

Arthur Deane is an experienced CISO with nearly 20 years of experience building security programs and teams at multiple global organizations. He currently leads security at Amazon Health Services, which includes the Amazon Pharmacy and One Medical businesses. Arthur was previously the Vice President and CISO of the Card business at Capital One, and prior to that held security leadership roles at Google, AWS, and PwC, as well as security engineering roles at various U.S. Government agencies.

Arthur holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and a master's degree in information security from the University of Maryland. He's an Adjunct Professor at American University, a member of RIT's National Council, and a member of the Computer Science Advisory Board at Howard University. Arthur holds numerous industry certifications and is also the author of CCSP for Dummies and co-author of The Official (ISC)2 CISSP CBK Reference, 6th Edition.
