The SANS Institute is proud to host the SANS NetWars DoD Services Cup Championship In-Person this year during SANS Cyber Defense Initiative® 2022.
The annual SANS NetWars DoD Services Cup Championship is a unique event tailored exclusively to members of the US Department of Defense. This year, SANS is inviting a five-member team from each of the following branches to represent their service: US Army, US Army Reserve, US Air Force, US Air Force Reserve, US National Guard, US Space Force, US Navy, US Navy Reserves, US Marines, US Coast Guard.
A Service Member & VIP Reception for all invitees will be held Thursday, December 15, @ 5:30pm. The reception will feature Brigadier General Teri Williams (Vice Director of Operations (Cyber), NGB J-3/6) and Ed Skoudis (SANS Fellow, Author and Chief Range Architect). VIPs are encouraged to stay with us after the reception to observe the competition firsthand.

Please note that this special event is complimentary for invited guests, and the Tournament itself will be hosted in conjunction with SANS Cyber Defense Initiative® 2022.
The winners of this championship will have their names and team name engraved on the US Services Cup traveling trophy, and the engraved trophy will be shipped to the location of the team's choice for display. Additionally, the winning team qualifies to compete in the 2022 International Services Cup!

VIP Reception(DVs & Tournament Participants): 15 DEC @ 5:30-6:30pm.
Tournament: 6-hours over two evenings on 15 & 16 DEC (3 hours each evening). Observers are welcome.
Award Ceremony: 16 DEC at the conclusion of the tournament.
This year we will be running the NetWars Services Cup with virtual machines.
