Martin Innes is a Professor in the School of Social Sciences at Cardiff University where he is also Director of the Security, Crime and Intelligence Innovation Institute. He is the author of five books and a large number of articles on topics including policing, counter-terrorism and social control. Since 2018 he has been leading a large-scale, international research programme into the causes and consequences of disinformation and information operations.
