Nasir Baba-Ahmed

Nasir Baba Ahmed is a Cybersecurity Expert with reasonable combination of management functionalities and diversified experience in the field of Computing Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Incidence Response & Digital Forensics. He applies a practical approach in delivering technical solutions to the looming cyberthreat landscape.

He is an EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and a Certified Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), an AccessData Certified Digital Forensics Examiner (ACE), a MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA), and a Certified Cybersecurity First Responder, Incident Response & Forensic Investigation Expert (CSIRT).

Nasir Holds a PhD on Cybersecurity in Critical National Infrastructure from the South of France and also holds an M.Sc. and B.Sc. from the University of Coventry UK in Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics respectively. He was the Head of I.T Services and Head of the Cybersecurity Unit at Baze University Abuja (2011-2019).

Nasir also teaches Digital Forensics & Cybersecurity at Baze University, Abuja. He is also the Head of the Baze University Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), and currently a Post-Doctoral Researcher on Cyber crisis management and Incident Response at IMT South France.
