Matthew Seyer

Matthew Seyer is a Director at KPMG LLP who primarily provides Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) services out of Dallas Texas.

Seyer started off with an education in Digital Forensics and has since worked many years performing DFIR investigations and automating novel solutions. Mr. Seyer enjoys research and development, and storing and performing analytics on copious amounts of forensic artifacts. To help him achieve this, he loves coding in Rust to get that low level speed for large jobs, but he will never say no to Python.

With the recent and large hype around GenAI, he is currently exploring the more practical uses of the technology to help add yet another tool to make the DFIR process more efficient.
