SANS Institute Awarded 2021 Cyber Industry Resource of the Year from the Cybersecurity Association of Maryland

The 5th annual awards program recognizes the best of Maryland’s cybersecurity industry and celebrates the resiliency of the cybersecurity industry

BETHESDA, MD. September 27, 2021 – SANS Institute (“SANS”) was honored with the 2021 Cyber Industry Resource of the Year Award from the Cybersecurity Association of Maryland, Inc. (CAMI), Maryland’s only nonprofit organization dedicated to bolstering the growth of the state’s cybersecurity industry. These competitive awards recognize leading-edge cybersecurity product and services companies headquartered in Maryland for their innovations and contributions to the state’s cybersecurity ecosystem.

SANS’ ongoing mission is to empower cybersecurity professionals with the practical skills and knowledge they need to make our world a safer place. SANS Institute specializes in high quality cybersecurity training, certifications, scholarship academies, degree programs, cyber ranges, and resources to meet the needs of every cyber professional.

In total, 84 nominations were considered across 7 categories for the 2020 MD Cybersecurity Awards. Entries were evaluated by 12 independent judges whose roles range from Vice Presidents to Founders.
