The Call for Presentations is OPEN!
Summit: July 24-25 | Salt Lake City, UT & Live Online
Every year, forensic and incident response professionals from around the world attend the SANS DFIR Summit to learn how to overcome their latest obstacles, hear about the latest open-source forensic tools, share methods and strategies proven effective in their investigations, and connect with the top DFIR practitioners in the industry.
Do you have lessons learned, best practices, or tools to share with the community? We want to hear from you! Please see review topics and details below.
Also, in the meantime, to get a taste of the type of dynamic presentations and speakers we're looking for, check out these talks from last year's DFIR Summit.
If you have a story to tell, a tool that you created to solve a problem, or a lesson you’ve learned that the greater DFIR community would like to hear about, this is the event to share it!
The DFIR Summit Advisory Board is seeking presentations focusing on:
- DFIR case studies that solve a unique problem
- New forensic tools and techniques, especially open-source solutions
- Discussions of new artifacts related to smartphone, Cloud, Windows, Mac, or Linux platforms
- Improving the status quo of the DFIR industry by sharing novel approaches to solving problems that practitioners face in their work
- Challenges to existing assumptions and methodologies that might change the industry
- Forensic techniques that can rapidly extract and analyze data
- Scalable forensic strategies or processes that can address Enterprise-level environments
