Moving to a virtualized data center approach has made it much easier for IT to spin up resources to meet the demand for new business services, showing enormous benefit through shortening time to market. However, the increased number of services and the growth in \east west" traffic between those services have driven the need for an equally scalable and flexible approach to implementing host and network-based-security controls across the visualized infrastructure.

During this SANS WhatWorks, Mark Fournier, CIO and CSO at the United States Senate Federal Credit Union, will provide details of the selection and deployment of VMware's NSX Service-defined Firewall and other virtualized security capabilities to first, securely enable the move to a virtualized IT infrastructure, and then to use more granular and flexible security controls for both data center applications and user devices in the increased Work from Home environment.

Join SANS Director of Emerging Security Trends John Pescatore and Mark Fournier to hear details on the selection, deployment and experience using VMware's NSX security capabilities. The webcast will feature a discussion of lessons learned and best practices as well as detail the key security gains achieved.
