Speaker Bios

Jim Hollar

Jim Hollar is an Advisory SE at RSA, The Security Division of Dell Technologies. He has over 18 years' experience in the information security field with expertise in security architecture, design and review, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, network and host-based forensics, and security project management and implementation. He works with RSA's largest customers and most complex deployments, supporting RSA's NetWitness Suite of network and endpoint forensics products, where he combines his first-hand knowledge of cyber-attacks with real-world defense strategies. He began his career at RSA six years ago after RSA acquired Netwitness as a Systems Engineer, and worked at previous organizations such as Qualys, Forsythe, and ISS as a security consultant and analyst. Jim is a CISSP with 2 Masters Degrees from the University of Michigan in Engineering and Business.


Gib Sorebo

Gib Sorebo is a Chief Cybersecurity Technologist for Leidos where he assists private sector organizations in addressing cybersecurity risks and complying with legal and regulatory requirements. He has been working in the cybersecurity industry for more than twenty years in both the public and private sector. In addition to federal and state governments, Gib has done security consulting and led professional services teams in the financial services, healthcare, and energy sectors. For the last two years, he was been responsible for the company's commercial cybersecurity strategy. He also recently co-authored a book on Smart Grid Security that was published in December 2011.
