With the rapid shift to remote working for nearly every enterprise, organizations have had to rely on remote collaboration tools for increasingly sensitive conversations and meetings. How should organizations prioritize between availability, confidentiality and integrity when critical business decisions need to be made about what tools to use? How much trust should teams place in newer cloud-based SaaS solutions and the legacy incumbents? What are the risks of using shadow IT tools and other consumer communications platforms? How do the use of Identity as a Service tools impact the integrity of online work? Join Aaron Turner and Dave Shackleford for an in-depth conversation about the inner workings of these platforms, specifically who generates and has access to the encryption keys used to secure communications passing through those systems and identities managed in the cloud. They will focus on how security teams can help business leaders understand how to use the right platform based on business needs and priorities and share lessons learned from security incidents and brand-damaging events caused by the use of these tools.
