Overview

Cloud infrastructure, build / deploy tools, and our application stacks generate a wealth of data which can feed our defensive tools and enable us to respond swiftly to attackers. The inherently automation-friendly nature of cloud infrastructure gives us a powerful platform to turn "boring old logs" into an active defense system. Learn one approach to extending web application monitoring into an active defense system to help better protect your organization.

This is the second in a five-part webcast series on Secure DevOps. Topics covered in these webcasts are directly related to the new SANS DEV540: Secure DevOps and Cloud Application Security course. Upcoming webcasts will cover the following topics:

  • Faster Feedback with Effective Security Unit Tests in CI/CD
  • Microservices and API Security
  • Encryption in the Cloud with KMS

For additional information about DEV540 visit the course page.
