Nations like Singapore, with its Smart Nation Platform, are being hailed as models in their use of smart hospitals, classrooms, preschools, elder care and more. Yet many of today's new'smart' infrastructure systems - including transportation, smart buildings and other smart systems - are already proving vulnerable to cyber attack.

In a recent example, hundreds of thousands of infrastructure systems in May fell victim to WannaCry, a flawed and unsophisticated ransomware program sent out as phishing emails. The malware ended up disrupting hospital, factory, financial, phone, shipping and government systems, among others, across the UK, Asia and even Russia. '

In this webcast, learn what smart infrastructure systems are likely in your organization already, how they're vulnerable, and steps to mitigate these threats. For example:

  • Why smart systems still run on top of old O/S's and how its difficult to upgrade them
  • The criticality of vulnerability scanning, testing and patching these systems
  • How to locate and remediate systems are connecting directly to the Internet that shouldn't be
  • Protecting against the weakest link - users who are tricked into accepting ransomware and other malware in the first place
  • The importance of network and endpoint controls
