Overview

What is so special about API security? Under such prevalence of APIs everywhere, what are the best methodologies to assess their security? How different is the aspect of securing APIs vs regular web applications?

In this webinar, Mohammed Aldoub will discuss the answers to these questions, as well as discuss the integration of APIs and cloud technologies, and how they can be secured, assessed and attacked.

Various web and Cloud API technologies will be discussed and analyzed using practical methods and approaches.

Mohammed Aldoub

Mohammed Aldoub (@Voulnet) is an independent security consultant from Kuwait, who, in his 10 years of experience, worked on creating Kuwait's national infrastructure for PKI, cryptography, smartcards and authentication. Mohammed delivered security trainings, workshops and talks in the Netherlands, USA, Czech Republic, Lebanon, Riyadh, Kuwait, and other places. Mohammed is deeply interested in malware, especially those used by state actors in the Middle East zone, where he volunteered as OWASP Kuwait's chapter leader. Mohammed is focusing now on APIs, secure devops, modern appsec, cloud-native security, applied cryptography, security architecture and microservices.
