Improvements to Critical Control 12
The Center for Internet Security (CIS) Critical Security Controls, more popularly known as the Top 20 Critical Controls is a comprehensive blueprint that can help effectively secure an organization. The latest version of the controls is 6.1. Logging is its own control, but it applies to many of the other controls. This presentation will briefly review control 6, \Maintenance, Monitoring, and Analysis of Audit Logs" and control 12 "Boundary Defense". The audience will learn how control 6 supports, influences, and improves the effectiveness of control 12.
