Overview

Many companies are transitioning from monolithic application development to a microservices-based architecture yet this new architecture poses unique security challenges. SANS expert, Jake Williams and Threat Stacks Tim Buntel pick up where they left off and dive deeper into the world of microservices security.

This webinar will go beyond microservices application design and look at the larger picture of microservice architecture as a whole and the unique security concerns associated with this abstracted and often complex infrastructure. Some of the key issues covered will include:

  • Threat modeling for microservices architecture
  • Dealing with multiple CI/CD pipelines simultaneously
  • Managing secrets during interservice communications
  • Architecting for visibility in a microservices architecture
