Overview

How to prepare for a GIAC exam without ending up in a straitjacket.

As I browse the GIAC advisory board and pen-test mailing lists, I frequently see emails from frantic people asking for prep advice for their upcoming exam, copies of indexes, cyani--- well, you get it, they want help. We're all busy doing our actual Infosec jobs, so studying for an exam drops to the bottom of our mental inboxes. I'm going to share my study tips and Ron's not-patented index building method so you can prep for the exam without cramming, and without going crazy.
