Speaker Bio

Mark Hafner

Mark Hafner joined IBM in 2010 as a member of its newly formed Software Group (SWG). This group focuses on systems management, security compliance, and business analytics for both commercial and federal customers, as well as partners. Prior to joining IBM, Mark was a consultant at BigFix (acquired by IBM), Symantec, and Ernst & Young. He has a bachelor's degree in political science from Providence College and a master's degree in US Foreign Policy from the School of International Service (SIS) at American University. He is a chief architect for IBM's solution set to the recent Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Program issued by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
