Phil Hochmuth

Phil Hochmuth is the Program Manager of IDC's Security service. As a leading industry analyst, he conducts primary research and provides insight and analysis on a range of enterprise security markets; examining the convergence security technologies as enterprises address new and evolving challenges. Prior to joining IDC, Mr. Hochmuth was a Principal Analyst at Yankee Group, where his research covered a range of enterprise network and security technologies. Before becoming an analyst, he was a Senior Editor at Network World and a systems engineer at CNI Corp., a technology integration firm. Beyond numerous client strategy and public speaking engagements, Mr. Hochmuth's research has contributed to many publications, news and industry groups where his comments have appeared in articles and broadcasts.

Scott Gordon

Scott Gordon is the chief marketing officer at RiskIQ, responsible for global market strategy, operations and sales enablement. He has 20 years' experience contributing to security management, network, endpoint and data security, and risk assessment technologies at innovative startups and large organizations. Prior to RiskIQ, Scott held management positions at ForeScout, Protego Networks (acq. Cisco), Axent and McAfee. Scott is CISSP certified and has authored "Operationalizing Security" and co-authored the "Definitive Guide to NAC."
