During June and July, SANS conducted a survey that was taken by 647 individuals to explore how organizations are dealing with their security data for better analysis and detection. In this first installment of our two-part survey webcast series, Dave Shackleford will discuss how organizations perceive their risk and the notion of big data analytics and intelligence. Learn what data respondent organizations are collecting, where and how they're collecting it, and impediments to finding that needle in a haystack among all the security data they now have in hand. (A hint: Inability to collect the right data to make associations and lack of context are two most cited problems with catching security breaches today, according to results.)
