Recent Threat Stack survey finds that over 50% of companies admit to cutting back on security measures to meet a business deadline or objective. As long as companies are willing to sacrifice security at the altar of speed, the long-held dream of marrying DevOps and security simply wont come true

Pete Cheslock

As the head of Threat Stack's operations and support teams, Pete is focused on delivering the highest level of service, reliability, and customer satisfaction to Threat Stacks growing user base. An industry veteran with over 15 years' experience in DevOps, Pete understands the challenges and and issues faced by security, development and operations professionals everyday and how we can help. Prior to Threat Stack, Pete held senior positions at Dyn and Sonian where he built, managed and developed automation and release engineering teams and projects.

Franklin Mosley

Franklin Mosley has 17 years of experience as an information security professional that has included the areas of authentication services, biometrics, threat intelligence, mobile and cloud security. Prior to that, he was a software engineer, which makes him perfectly suited for his passionate focus on Application Security.


At PagerDuty, his mission is to further define and build out the Security Vision and Roadmap so PagerDuty can best protect its customers. To achieve that, when DevOps is all about enabling fast and frequent delivery of new software, Franklin has been a leader in developing DevSecOps practices to reliably integrate application security into the CI/CD pipeline in order to keep pace in a DevOps culture. 


Franklin is an evangelist for Application Security and has appeared as a keynote speaker sharing his insight into the world of security and DevOps. He received his MS and BS in Computer Science, is an active participant in various security groups, still likes to write code, and enjoys participating in capture the flag challenges. Aside from technology and security, Franklin is an avid tennis player, enjoys traveling and photography.
