Speaker Bios

Heather Wishart-Smith

An integrator of digital disruption and innovation, Ms. Wishart-Smith is the Senior Vice President of Technology & Innovation for Jacobs, the #1 ranked architecture/engineering design firm in the world by Engineering News Record (ENR), providing professional solutions such as engineering, cybersecurity, data analytics, architecture, and consulting for the buildings, transportation, aerospace, government, water and related markets. Prior roles include Buildings & Infrastructure Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager, Federal Department of Defense Market Sector Leader, Sales Executive, and Principal of multiple large, full-service programs for the Army, Navy, and Air Force worldwide. A former U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps officer with both vertical and horizontal project experience, Ms. Wishart-Smith was recently sworn in as the 101st and only the second female president of the Society of American Military Engineers. She is a registered Professional Engineer and certified Project Management Professional, and holds Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia.


Raja R. Kadiyala, Ph.D.

Dr. Kadiyala is a Vice President and Senior Technology Fellow at Jacobs. He is currently serving as the Global Market Director for Digital. In this role, he provides leadership, direction and oversight for services associated with Jacobs’ Digital Delivery, Geospatial and Intelligent Systems solution areas. This includes Automated Design, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Geospatial Analytics and Integration, Geodesign, Digital Twins, Process Control Systems, Optimization, Predictive Analytics, Information Modeling, Smart Metering, Artificial Intelligence, IoT and Smart Sensing, Physical Security, Cybersecurity and Emergency Preparedness solutions for public and private sector clients worldwide. Over his 27-year career at Jacobs, Dr. Kadiyala has worked to plan and implement information and security system solutions across the globe. Prior to joining Jacobs, Dr. Kadiyala worked in the aerospace industry and industrial process control space as a development engineer. He was also a control systems engineer within the Flight Systems Division at NASA, and as an R&D manager in the automotive and semiconductor manufacturing robotics arena. Dr. Kadiyala received his bachelors of science, with highest distinction, from Purdue University. He subsequently received his masters and doctorate from the University of California at Berkeley, all in electrical engineering.


Adi Karisik

Adi Karisik is the Global Technology Leader for OT at Jacobs. He has over 20 years of highly specialized professional experience, covering information technology, enterprise IT cybersecurity, Operational Technology, management consulting, and intelligence consulting as well as providing specialized services in the Defense and Intelligence domain. At Jacobs, Mr. Karisik previously served as Deputy BU Leader for Cybersecurity and as a BU Leader for Commercial and International Cybersecurity. He also managed several classified and open programs/portfolios in both the USA and Europe. Since 2012, Adi has been involved in big data analytics and has partnered with several US and European companies to provide a product capable of combining big data and machine learning with multiple external data sources, in order to facilitate assistance in area of complex decision-making modeling. During his 14-year tenure with Blue Canopy Group, Mr. Karisik served as a partner and one of the key leaders in the National Security domain. He teaches at the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey and has authored several types of training in area of cross-cultural negotiations, predictive behavior analysis, human terrain reading and survivability. Adi is a passionate pilot, a former nationally-ranked NCAA division 1 tennis coach and currently serves as a squadron commander for Civil Air Patrol in Virginia where he volunteers his time to train cadets and fly.


Robert Brokamp

Bob Brokamp is the OT SME for Pharmaceuticals and Life Science. In this role he has primary oversight responsibility for all pharma-bio automation projects executed by Jacobs and is responsible for definition and quality of the related work processes. He has 35 years of experience in the delivery of OT solutions across multiple industries and an extensive working knowledge of; GAMP, Good Automated Manufacturing Practice and related Code of Federal Regulations ; ANSI/ISA-95 and IEC 62264, Enterprise – Control System Integration standards; ANSI/ISA S88 and IEC61512, Batch Process Control; and ISA/IEC 62443, Security for Industrial Control Systems. Bob holds a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and a M.S. in Industrial Engineering in which his focus of study was Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM).


Phil Neray

Phil Neray is VP of IoT & Industrial Cybersecurity for CyberX, a Microsoft company founded by blue-team experts with a track record of defending critical national infrastructure. Prior to CyberX, Phil held executive roles at IBM Security/Q1 Labs, Symantec, Veracode, and Guardium. Phil began his career as an engineer with Hydro-Quebec and as a Schlumberger engineer on oil rigs in South America. He has a BSEE from McGill University, is certified in cloud security (CCSK), and has a First-Degree Black Belt in American Jiu Jitsu.
