Arabella is responsible for the go-to-market positioning and activation of the company’s Advanced Threat solutions at Arbor. Previously she was VP of Corporate Strategy where she led strategic planning and corporate development activities.
Arabella has over 20 years of experience in IT security and strategy. Prior to joining Arbor, Arabella was VP of Corporate Strategy at Sophos, a global IT security vendor headquartered in Boston and Oxford, UK where she led M&A strategy, market and customer insight, and global corporate communications.
Prior to Sophos, Arabella was Research VP at Gartner, the IT research and advisory services firm. At Gartner, Arabella led coverage of the endpoint, eMail and web security markets and counseled many of the world’s largest corporations, governments and technology providers on technology and market trends and their strategic implications.
John Pescatore joined SANS as director of emerging security trends in January 2013 after more than 13 years as lead security analyst for Gartner, 11 years with GTE, and service with both the National Security Agency, where he designed secure voice systems, and the U.S. Secret Service, where he developed secure communications and voice systems "and the occasional ballistic armor installation." John has testified before Congress about cyber security, was named one of the 15 most-influential people in security in 2008 and remains an NSA-certified cryptologic engineer.
Paul Bowen is a security practitioner with over 20 years industry experience. Paul started out at Estee Lauder gaining a decade of experience as a manger of global security. He then moved from being a security consumer to a security vendor.
Paul spent almost a decade at Arcsight before and during the HP acquisition, transitioning to a conference speaker for HP as a Strategic Evangelist from the Office of Advanced Technology before spending a year with Mendicant, then another year with Fortinet before arriving at Arbor Networks. Paul is currently Principal Security Technologist with a focus on Advanced Threat detection and mitigation with Arbor’s new Spectrum Platform.
Ann Sun is director of product marketing for NETSCOUT'S Packet Flow Switch Business Unit. Her responsibilities include the portfolio of packet flow switches and taps solutions, with a focus on security solutions and partnerships. Prior to joining NETSCOUT, Ann headed marketing for VSS Monitoring, and held several different leadership roles at Cisco. She has been involved in various security solutions--802.1X security when she led marketing in the Wireless Networking Business Unit at Cisco, firewalls in the early days of Cisco's Security Business Unit, and physical security systems.
