Overview

Organizations understand that limiting the use of administrative privilege will tremendously improve their security posture and there are several key pieces required to accomplish that task. Project management, buy-in from executives and training and awareness are a few key areas to focus on when pursuing this goal and there is plenty of information available to assist in these areas. This presentation will focus on how one might actually implement several parts of Critical Control 5: "Controlled use of administrative privileges in the organization" from a technical perspective filling the gap between know what we need to do and knowing how to do it.
