Ben is a security data scientist working for the Cyentia Institute. His research has synthesized complex systems, data science, and security resulting in contributions to multiple security subfields. Prior to joining Cyentia, Ben worked for IBM Research where he both assessed the security of machine learning algorithms and used machine learning to solve security problems. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of New Mexico and his work has appeared at leading industry and academic venues.
