Andrew Harris has 17+ years experience in cybersecurity, most of which has been in architecting and building some of the largest and most sensitive Government cybersecurity capabilities. Andrew is currently CrowdStrike’s Sr. Director for Global Public Sector Technology Strategy, responsible for driving the go-to-market and alignment initiatives both internally and external to CrowdStrike. Prior to joining CrowdStrike, Andrew was a Principal Program Manager at Microsoft focusing on engineering solutions across 50+ Azure product teams while architecting solutions for multiple $1B+ government and financial sector contracts. He served as the CTO for the Customer Experience Engineering (CxE) team for Azure Security, driving product strategy across products. Andrew led the Recovery team at Microsoft for Incident Response and helped NIST write the playbook on SP 800-184, “Guide for Cybersecurity Event Recovery”. Andrew served as a Special Advisor to the White House, US House of Representatives, multiple Services within the Department of Defense, Pentagon, New York City Policy Department (NYPD) and various Fortune 100 companies. Prior to Microsoft, Andrew was the Chief of Strategic Programs at the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), pioneering Department of Defense Enterprise cybersecurity programs, many of which are still in use and remain top priorities to DoD’s Computer Network Defense (CND) portfolio.
