About Alex Cooley

Alex is a highly experienced Digital Forensic Specialist and Accredited Member of the Chartered Institute of Information Security (MCIIS) who recently joined MSAB. Alex brings with him 34 years of service in forensic science within local and regional police forces. For the past 18 years, Alex has developed considerable expertise in areas including mobile device analysis, vehicle forensics, and hardware investigations. He has regularly presented expert evidence in criminal proceedings and spoken at national and international conferences. In addition to his casework, Alex has delivered training to local and regional police staff and served as an associate trainer at the UK’s College of Policing, supporting the development of forensic practitioners across the UK.
