Cleveland, Oh. – As national reports of governments and companies being hacked and suffering irreparable reputational damage continue to rise, ISS is making sure Northeast Ohio has the latest tools and resources it needs for enterprise resilience. Information Security Summit (ISS) is bringing SANS security training to Cleveland for the first time. As part of the Spring IT Summit, held April 17-22 at the I-X Center, IT professionals and aspiring cybersecurity experts will have a chance to learn from SANS' world renowned cybersecurity instructors.

- SEC401"Security Essentials" Basics-level Bootcamp teaches beginners the basic steps to prevent attacks, detect adversaries and battle against the wide range of cyber adversaries that target business, government, and people. Computer security is a field where things change daily. To stay on top professionals must have a strong foundation in the essentials of security. SANS Security Essentials curriculum consists of courses designed to help participants gain the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to succeed as a security professional. - SEC503 "Intrusion Detection" Advanced-level in-depth delivers the technical knowledge, insight, and hands-on training advanced professionals need to defend their companies with confidence. The goal of SEC503 is to acquaint participants with the core knowledge, tools, and techniques to defend networks, and prepare them to put new skills and knowledge to work immediately upon returning to a live environment. Information Security Summit
The Information Security Summit hosts the Spring IT Summit on April 19, 2017, and the fall Security Summit Week Oct. 30, 2017 - Nov. 3, 2017.
