SANS Partners with NRI SecureTechnologies to Help Japanese Businesses Manage their Human Cyber Security Risk

Partnership Brings SANS Security Awareness Program, in Japanese, to Local Businesses

  • Bethesda, MD
  • May 25, 2017

SANS Institute, the global leader in information security training, today announced it has entered into a reseller agreement with NRI SecureTechnologies, ltd. (NRI Secure) that provides Japanese businesses localized access to SANS Security Awareness training program. The agreement addresses NRI Secure's clients' growing need for end user cyber security governance training in Japanese.

"As evidenced by results of NRI Secure's 2016 annual information security report (Cyber Security Trend Annual Review 2016), executives and employees throughout Japan continue to be susceptible to a variety of targeted attacks. This finding is not surprising given the lack of global end-user training content in Japanese," said Jun Odashima, President and CEO of NRI Secure. "Since 2000, NRI Secure has been committed to helping Japanese companies improve their abilities to protect themselves from cyber attacks. Extending access to SANS' world-class information security awareness training to NRI Secure's clients in Japanese enables us to build upon our dedication to helping Japanese businesses by filling a much-needed void for localized training. In doing so we hope to help organizations throughout Japan change employee behaviors to minimize risks."

SANS Security Awareness provides organizations with a comprehensive solution that enables them to easily and effectively manage their human cyber security risk. SANS Security Awareness offers industry leading classes, tools and resources so that security awareness officers can easily and effectively manage their human cyber security risk.
